Our implementation process is detailed. The following is an example of the phases Ketchum Integration follows to ensure that all aspects of an installation meet our high standards and yours.
Phase One
- The first phase is gathering information. In this process, we:
- Review call flow requirements
- Detail incoming and outgoing call flow for each device
- Quantify number of users
- Quantify number of analog and digital trunks
- Quantify number and type of circuits (ISDN, T1, PRI)
- Review system/network requirements
Phase Two
- The second phase is the site survey. Planning for the specific project takes definitive roots in this phase. We'll examine what we'll need to prepare and install the system.
- Review phone survey, with customer contact and update, as necessary
- Understand where the equipment will be located
- Determine the required networking configuration
- Understand internal wiring requirements (phones, paging)
- Inventory current cabling
- Identify cable termination method (Punch-down, RJ Panel)
- Inventory PCs, network and telecomm equipment
Phase Three
- The third phase is the pre-installation provisioning, and uses all the planning from the previous phases
- Prepare system. Identify all telephone users and assign them telephone, voice mail, and calling privileges
- Identify unique user requirements
- Build customer database
- Assist customer with Telco Trunk order
- Create cutover sheets
- Order Music-on-hold equipment, as appropriate
- Order paging equipment, as appropriate
Phase Four
In the final fourth phase, the system is installed and tested. Most installations occur on a Friday, after hours, so the system can be up and running the following Monday, and Ketchum can begin training the staff.
- Install telephone system and test
- Install networking components
- Telco - install / Analog and DID trunks
- Telco - install / test circuits
- Desktop Client install and test
